Beauty

By gregpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Beauty is not the sunset with its wonderfully soft glow casting a golden hue that captivates And enthralls. Beauty is not the gentle swell of the waves as they make their majestic Journey towards the shore, Wearing their shawls of white purity. Beauty is not the morning mist Tinged with the birth of a welcome dawn Bringing to musical life the harmony Of Nature's symphonic choir. Beauty is the touch of your hand in mine; The light in your eyes when our gazes meet; The joy of your companionship, and the magic of your smile. Should there be for me a thousand Loves from which to make my choice, I still would choose you everytime To be my very own. My secret dreams are all realized, And every wish that I have made has now come true because of you; For yours is Love Divine. Thank you again for being mine.               Written by Gregory Fitt Written November 6th, 2001 © on Nov 06 2001 01:16 PM PST   0 • 8
