Perfection

By gregpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You are a rare and precious stone whose flawless beauty transcends the temporal, and trespasses on the celestial. You walk with the grace of one whose body blends in harmony to the contours of the very earth. Your voice is as a music softly played by masterful directorship that makes me want to dance with joy unknown to man. Your smile is as a beam of brightest sun that reaches through the darkest day, to bring the light of hope for which I yearn. I hold within my heart a deep abiding love for you. A love that burns within and melts my mind and soul. This love I feel is but the love that's felt by every man that ever looked upon your grace and loveliness. Now let these words that bring to life my inner thoughts be as a gentle force to lift your soul. Then let me thus be granted leave to worship at your temple. A temple of an ultimate perfection.                   Written by Gregory Fitt Written November 13th, 2001 © on Nov 13 2001 08:25 AM PST   18 • 0 • 8
