In The Midnight Rain

By Highland Dreams

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I whisper to you through the drops of the midnight rain, as I dream of you finding me in the dark- and making my world bright again. I wish for you under the light of the brightest star, and I know you'll be able to hear it- No matter how far. I can feel your body next to me as I lay in the night, and I can imagine your lips on mine- When my eyes are closed tight. It's morning now, but my thoughts of you still remain, and I can't wait until we meet again- In the midnight rain. Written December 27th, 2001 © on Dec 27 2001 02:33 AM PST   18 • 0 • 12
