By Highland Dreams

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sitting in the corner With a blindfold on its eyes, I have for dearest Connor A little surprise. Yes, ‘tis true . . . This I will declare, I am the very one, Who nicked the Teddy Bear! I’m holding him for ransom, This furry little wonder, Until I get my payment From the poet from “Down Under”. At an undisclosed location, Teddy is gagged and bound. If Connor doesn’t pay up .... he never will be found. For now, your Teddy is safe. I promise to do no harm, But if you don’t meet my demands ... I’ll mail you his little arm!Disclaimer: This tale is purely fictional, no Teddy's were actually harmed in the creation of this poem!
