Prayer

By JimmyCognition

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Lord, thankyou for today's lessons. Give me the wisdom to learn from them, the fortitude to endure them, and the will to receive more. I am grateful for my strengths, and for my weaknesses. For my friends, and also for my enemies. For life's pleasures, and pains. For this one earth that you have created for me, oh Lord. May I serve it well.Just a prayer I make sure to say every night...the way I see it, if God is going to kill you tommorrow, you'd better thank him for it tonight.
