Ideal Victim of Obsession

By Malveasor

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Your existence is irrelevant, You have chosen it to be so For giving unwarranted credit To a falsified identity For a life that was not his to give Is truly and unconditionally Pathetic Error: defunct security A heart so pure and good Is easily led to wander, Deceivers are strong-willed But in the end it is those that are hurt Who allow in the pain Because victims are truly Naïve Am I naïve? We are all a little naïve, Some more than others But if you think it is love (And deep down, you know you do) Just remember that it is a fantasy And often a time, fantasy leads to Delusion Consumption is eminent “Friends with benefits” are rarely ever friends And never beneficial Friendly intercourse is not bad Unless it is under false pretenses “Opportunity knocked,” possibly; But predators also seize the “opportunities” of consuming Prey I hope your lips are not chapped from all that puckering.4/5 of a series written in honor of a friend/enemy.
