Out of my Mind?

By Malveasor

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

what are you looking at? why are you staring? hello? hello? not up to your standards? a hopeless failure? those are what I ask myself as I observe the confused expression on your face; please, don't be shy i only bite upon request are you even listening? bend over backwards, is that what you want? is that what it will take? do you think i'm crazy? why do you stare at me but not word your ignorance? flesh crawls over my bones not by choice not by permission whether it appeals to you or not; your loss either way patience i'm expected to possess love i'm supposed to bestow both are non-refundable so do not ask, because i shall not give and allow my spirit to dwindle my thoughts travel north to intercept south, west to intercept east... negated norm i'm not out of my mind i'm out of yours Written April 3rd, 2002 © on Apr 03 2002 02:40 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
