The Difference

What if your life was one big lie, And everyone around you wished you would die, What if you woke up each day to the whispers of loved ones cursing u for not sleeping forever, And the last thing your family wants is to be together, If you were always wrong, Would the time until death seem too long? What if everytime you went to open your mouth, Your opponent won, no matter what the conflict was about, What if you grew up watching someone get everything you wanted and so much more, What if everytime you needed help they slammed the door.. If I were you, And you were me, You'd die before the day was through, If I were you, And you were me, Maybe once I could be happy too, I hate the way they judge me, As if with one look you know me instantly, I hate knowing I may not wake up tomorrow, I hate wanting to die to end this sorrow.. I Lie, I curse, I Cry, Could this be worse? You Pray, You Smile, You Obey, Your life's 100% worthwhile.. If I were you, And you were me, You'd die before the day was through, If I were you, And you were me, Maybe once I could be happy too,I got tired of hearing people complain about little things, like, when a guy's 789th girlfriend breaks up with him, because HE fucked up.. Or when a girl's sad because her dad decided not to buy her that new shirt.. Little things.. So I'm comparing their lives with mine.. This song is about alot of things, hence, my feelings.. Being sad about my sickness, the pain of watching my half brother get everything I've ever wanted in life.. Maily love from my family.. When you get all those feelings wrapped up together, it's hard to write about only one of them..
