I came adreaming here
By repomen79
I set my course for the northernmost The light on the mountain side. That which be least, at last be most. And that I might abide. The moment shines yet cannot stay. So I hold each one so dear. My candle burns to die one day. So I came a dreaming here. No wind that blows, may yet oppose. The set of a westering sun. And no one knows, where the spirit goes. When this life on earth is done. If a promise lies, in starry skies. Told in endless shades of blue I glad realise, these weeping eyes. Have dreamed a dream of you. Yes, I set my sail for the northern shore. To the foot of the rainbow throne. And the everlasting moment more, Than any joy I've known. In his good hand, I take my stand. Away from doubt and fear. How could the like of me have planned? To come a dreaming here. Now vision bright, oh joyful light. I see through greater eyes. That truth be right, Here in plain sight. And so few realise. The feather lightness of a soul. Why a man could disappear. Ahead I see my blessed goal. I came a dreaming here. Once I was seen, as if to lean, But I stand uprightly now. For all the things that love can mean, Have lifted me somehow. So now these eyes behold the skies, With wonder not in fear. For all of fear is myth and lies, I came adreaming here. Now here at last, all doubt is past, I think, therefor I love. And glory in the light thats cast, Upon me from above. What of a life, lest any will, See any truth so clear. My loving father loves me still. I came adreaming here. Must come a time, to find that I'm, At long last called away. I've found your love grows more sublime, At every passing day. I look about, and know not doubt, That all are sweet and dear. For I have never gone without, Since I came adreaming here.DAKOTA CAT Written November 22nd, 2001 © on Feb 03 2002 07:34 AM PST, Patric Patterson 0 • 18 • 8
