I lay awake in bed last night. Was chilled right to the bone.I saw a ghostly moving light,And heard a dreadful groan.I hid beneath the covers fast.In case something was out there.Muffled footsteps hurried past. They came from everywhere.Soon the curtain blew aside. And something called my name.Theres things a man just won't abide. This has gone beyond a game.Spirit, why do you come to me?I ask this fearful shade.I'm scared to death, as you can see.Look at this mess you made.SILENCE, Cried he in a voice of doom.FOOL, who do you think I am?I'll mess up your stupid room.A ghost don't give a damn.I'm the spirit of re fried beans.Remember that enchilada?I'll tell you what my presence means.I'm here to tell you nada.Your stomach sent me here to say,Stay out of Taco Bell.I can't touch you in the day.But at night I'll give you hell. Now, you chump, do you recall? You slimy little hog.Your lucky you did not eat all,That foot long chili dog.I'm here to help you, you'll see.If you don't take my suggestion. My cousins twice as mean as me.His name is indigestion. You best believe, I'm talking sense.I came to help you learn. You pig out at your own expense. You can call me heartburn. So kiddies eat your wheat germ.Tofu and fresh bean sprouts.Keep that belly nice and firm.Theres spirits here abouts.
