You were once the object of my desire The one thing I wished to ever obtain And now that I had you You are driving me insane It seemed like we would end every day with an argument Never choosing the same side Do you find it odd That with each other We went on this emotional ride I hear your echoes throughout the night It seemed as if you never put out the fire It seems for a while you still were The object of my desire Hearing your voice ring through my ears The memories tear at my heart Damn my eyes with sadness are beginning to sear Summoning up spirits I believed to be dead and gone I can see my mistakes I can see where it is I went wrong But our lies to each other were so clear It was almost as if we were looking through glass A glass that would eventually break A heart that is cold An impostor A fake Is that what I once was?
