Piercing
By RiVeN
An arrow Shot from a distance Sent to my very heart My Mind At sixes at sevens Over the thought of you My thoughts Running circles through my head Waking me from my sleep The very thought of loosing you Saddens me as I begin to weep Thought to heart My heart flows from my pen My eyes close And the lights dim Winter rains fill the nightsky I wonder how and when we might Be able to see eye to eye Running dry and out of ink Should I loose hope? And let my feelings sink? I will try and persevere Loosing you would be my only fear The arrow Piercing my very heart Pulling me two seperate ways Pulling me apart The first step Is being able to communicate The hours pass and the skies grow dark It is getting late Writing my thoughts by candlelight Struggling with my emotions Putting up a neverending fight Pushing my chair in I am finally done Looking out to a new dawn And a rising sun Written December 28th, 2001 © on Dec 27 2001 03:36 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
