Injustice Crumbling
By RiVeN
Justice Why have you failed me my dear? I thought you protected those who were right Those who may live in fear Society has taught you otherwise It has taught you a different set of rules And now society is using you As one of its tools Breaking free of the mold from which you live in Is something you cannot do Or is it something you merely wish not to do? Do you fear that they might not accept you That they might throw stones at your ideas Manipulative Putting the wrong people in the wrong place You have given yourself a bad name And a bad face Injustice is what you have become Taking over your mind and your soul as a whole Crumbling down do you never see the light? The light I once tried to shed on your dreary world You found another way out And now your cries cannot be heard For it already too late Injustice has become your second fateEh. I don't know about this one. I just did it off the top of my head. I felt like writing and look what came out. What do you think? Written December 29th, 2001 © on Dec 29 2001 02:02 AM PST 18 • 0 • 9
