An unspoken word, a thought of love Stirs sacred emotions deep within Through times of sadness and spaces of joy They display an end to a lifetime of waiting Starlight’s brilliance contained in a glistening drop Rolling down a parchment of skin Their salty tastes are bitterness and loss A cascade of love, from pools of sorrow For those who contain these inner memories Who’s guarded feelings never surface to air A time shall come from pasts long shadow To inflict your worst fear, an outpour of grief When alone and lost they shall call Unbidden they flow, age after age Until a cleaner love, for the hurt to heal Out last refuge, a shoulder to weep Do you quiver at the thought of such solitude? This is an older poem of mine... i just though i'd put it here for the tofu of it..
