Pain
By Spiderman
Neither man nor woman could feel the pain in which today torments my body, in heart, soul and spirit. For even a man who has been shot by a hundred bullets and stabbed by a thousand knives would feel privileged to not withstand the pain that has been inflicted itself upon me. No Physical wound are evident upon my person and yet my pain is worse than any plague known to mankind for it inflicts upon the heart and soul of my very being. For now, even the amount of trust that I bestow to everyone who may cross my path has been banished, even now it seems that I have been stabbed in the back all to many times. Even the one person whom I love: not as a husband loves his wife nor the love of boyfriend or girlfriend but that of the love and caring as one loves their brothers or sisters, aunts and uncle, cussing, nephews and parents; as one loves their family. Betrayed has this love and friendship been though and through this final act of indecency has my soul been crushed and mangled. Unable to return to its original state for now anger has grown within my breast amongst sadness and despair. Trust again I shall not as before I have, but trust will be dealt to those whom have not enforced great pain upon me and even that trust in which is dealt out will be given in minuscule amounts. The one sport, which I truly love, has now become one, which I presently loathe for it is the indirect cause of much of the pain inflicted upon me. ‘Tis my only wish that none that read this poem went through the same pain which was inflicted upon me.Trust is sometimes seen as a weakness for it lets others get close to use and cause us to let our guard down. Becarful of those whom you allow close to you and those whom you trust. Dedication to Michael Dennis Rivers who has shown me the errors in the first draft of this poem. Much thk.
