'I Believe In Fairies'
I do not believe In so much anymore. What if this were all in my head? I cannot conceive of Spending hours on the phone. Another voice inside's the last thing I need. I do not believe in movies That feed off our need for thrills. I don't believe in Britney's breasts, That inflate and deflate like a blow-up chair. I don't believe in he Disney Channel So disgustingly politically correct. I don't believe in Gods or Christ Or Buddhas, Vishnu, Satan. I don't believe I have a spleen. Why should I believe in what I've never seen? But I believe in fairies And I believe in U.F.O.'s. I believe in you and me And living life as we must. I've lost track of wat is real In this sea of faux and fake. Reality, to me, is nothing but A niche our minds create. But I believe in fairies. Tell me, what's wrong with that? They are just as real as anything And just as magical. Written February 7th, 2002 © on Feb 07 2002 10:32 AM PST 10 • 0
