And Yet I Cry
I know that the man I depended on was no more than a twinkle of hope that I clung to. I know now you were nothing but a passing cloud that looked so beautiful at first, and then it started to rain, and yet I cry. I knew from the moment our son was born you were a coward, the same man I trusted with everything I had turned out to be a liar and yet I cry. I know now that all the promises you made came floating across your lips in a ball of lies. I know your love you claimed to have was untrue, so untrue and yet I cry. I know your still smiling right now, living your life as if you are still clung to that make believe world you once lived in and yet your smiling I still cry.
