Our Untouchables

By tarnishedheart

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Our freedom has been threatened, our lives have been changed, our poor and innocent people have died, our Americans, our untouchables. We cry for people who had no reason to die so suddenly, but we are so quick to yell revenge, killing more of our untouchables. It's finally happened to us and now our babies are left without mothers, husbands without wives, brothers without sisters, our untouchables. We now shed the tears people in other countries have been shedding for years, and we know now how bad it can hurt, the hate that hurts so bad, tears for our untouchables. More innocent poeple will be sent into fight a war, that will go on forever, one that never truly ended, again ultimatly killing more of our untouchables. We watch that eight year old little boy tell the world that while he is from another country he is not a bad person, but because we suspect his race, his innocence will be judged, questioning our untouchables. Our flags have been hung, our tears have been shed, our poeple have died, proving in the worst way, we are no longer untouchable.
