With everything I knew I gave the highest form of respect to a man, merely a man and kept screaming be satisfied. With simply a word he could have taken every ounce of sanity I had left, draining me completely yet I said be satisfied. With the outstretched arms that lay before him he could have at one point slit the wrists and I would have said be satisfied. And when all I had left was a whisper to claim my love for someone who proved false I stuttered be satisfied. Now that I am alone he comes around and taunts me in my dreams dancing with a horrible smile and I hear be satisfied. His son will grow up filled with images of fathers with their sons and with a tiny voice he will say the words daddy, be satisfied.
