Past Forgotten
I walk down these darkenes hallways filled with an emptiness so cold and desolate it frightens me. I hear the echos of laughter and the silence of whispers and with a single tear I know it's all gone The happiness brought from a word and the excitment brought from a promise will never again fill an empty soul as it once did. This place, a place I used to call my home is now so lonely, as if the presence of the past is the only thing that makes it whole. These empty chairs are symbols of lost lives that forgot what it was like to really live. And now, as I walk by myself, for myself, I see what it's like to be on the outside, always looking in.I actually wrote this about a place I used to work, where I met the people who became my best freinds.
