Thoughts
It's like the warm and cruel rays beating down on the heartless minds, absorbing every mindless thought and every child's dream. The rain is nothing but a bath for the surface leaving every reason for a sick and twisted show and tell. The snow, a way to freeze beauty and cover up cold and desolate hearts. Night comes and so does evil crawling out of every nook and cranny of an otherwise healthy mind. We live expected lives and let society warp our minds and we do what is expected of us. Our cold keyboards and our mind bending assembly lines and our zombie like cash registers are all ways for us to escape the tension of knowing, the same child who dreams of being a fireman is the same adult who sets the fire, the same child who dreams of being a policeman is the same adult getting handcuffed. 'Pour salt into my wounds and watch me squirm' says life. Written November 4th, 2001 © on Nov 04 2001 03:02 AM PST, Chauna 0 • 10
