I love you
By Desert Simba
twice before you whispered 'I love you'. This morning it somehow felt different. More soulful, more intense And your words lingered in the Love drenched room And you wonder if I am scared of you loving me. Was I scared when we walked the first steps of hesitancy? Our fingers entwined and our eyes meshed into one vision. Was I scared when you blew your breath of love into my mouth? It seemed like God himself had spoken to my heart. Do you see me weak because I love you? Do you see me tremble because I know you love me? I shall rejoice your love with verses of love. I shall dance with the fireflies that float effortlessly over the valley. And in the quiet moments in between your breathing I shall kiss your mouth to tell you 'I never fear a love as pure and gentle as yours'.
