The Flame of Life by Kelly Varner Johnson A match lights a candle, a baby is born, A flame flickers, a soul is torn. We are but fire in the wind, a struggling game, A weak, unsteady, faltering flame. Flames lit by the tongues of passion, Flickers, dimming in the breeze, Where illness is but a waltz of wind. And death?  Merely a sneeze . . .
