For the life of me
By repomen79
My love, at last I find me here. And all the things that were. Receede as if to disappear, Til there's nothing left but her. Speak but the word that I be assured, My heart, my destiny. And know I have you're love secured. Oh for the life of me. For what we say shall ever stay. When love has made us one. And on this happy blessed day. We make our two lives one. My angel darling, this my prayer. That for eternity. That all you're life, I too can share, Oh for the life of me. This day so fine, Gold sunlight shine. Upon us man and wife. I take you're very soul to mine. To love for all my life. Such precious grace, you're loving face. That such a thing should be. You're gentle heart I do embrace. Oh for the life of me. Its through, Its true, now I have you. Come let us make a vow. For something borrowed, something blue. Is something sacred now. Far in the deep and endless sky. His blessed eye must see. That loves the only reason why. You are the life of me. Let come dismay for all must pay. The price of love is dear. Yet love will always find a way. And lovers do not fear. We'll stand upright against the night. And love eternally. And hold this moment shinning bright. All for the life of me. So what of I? If love should die? Alone I'D bear the blame. For on you're face there is no lie. Your heart contains no shame. We'll love forever and love shall never. Die for such as we. This heart shall hold your own forever, More for the life of me.Am I writing too many love poems guys? Written January 19th, 2002 © on Jan 18 2002 11:05 PM PST, Patric Patterson 0 • 8
