Islands
By repomen79
Islands In the sun, like pebbles cast, So little done, day hurries past. I find I weep with little cause. I'm not the rock I thought I was. Strut my hour on the stage, Fill my page in a dying age. Call to where my words will fall, You can be free break down the wall. But Islands are divided, and the issue seems decided. The islands heart is closed to everything out side it. I Came to speak a joyful word, You who heard, have Made my happiness assured. I will cherish you in the fastness of night, Take you for a comfort and use you for a light. My heart once ran backward in time of regret, reaching redemption, Its shinning there yet. To the Islands cast, I speak of Him, For the rivers vast and I cant swim. The song I sing is a loving one. And the song goes on when the singers done. Go to the ancient of age to pray, Live within my heart today. Being only Islands in the stream, Your never as alone as you might seem. Love somebody new today, For RAPTURE is the ONLY way. With embarrased thanks to lurie for showing an ignorant repo how to spell Islands. some mistakes are just so hillareous that the author feels a pride in having made them. thanks darlin.....
