Rainbow
By repomen79
Colors pass in grand parade, All through this loving life we've made. The smokey grays of yesterdays, The brillient white of faith that stays, As pristine as a winter morn, As Spotless as the dress she'd worn. Red as rose, our deepest hearts, shinning gold as each day starts. Colors only lovers share, And copper fire is her hair. If love is colors, lovings art. Paint your soul within my heart. Come in colors that I know, The beauty of my own rainbow. The world that once was black and white, Is by your love, now filled with light And all I am would be unmade, If I should let the colors fade. Paint my passionit desire. The color of a burning fire. You are my rainbow, have no fear, If the colors run together dear. These loving eyes will still see true, That all of them still shine in you. Let day light fade as evening falls, Deep purple past our garden walls. The colors really aren't strange. They never die, they only change. And lovers do not fear the night. You still shine brightly in my sight. She's like a rainbow, she comes in colors everywhere. Written March 9th, 2002 © on Mar 08 2002 09:40 PM PST, Patric Patterson 0 • 8
