Seeing Eye

Wherein my soul the fragile spark, That burns to never die. Does light the never ending dark, Behind my blinded eye. So it must be,to truly see. And reckon with precision. Must surely mean that life is seen . In ways beyond mere vision. That God has set my eye to let, Much more than light come in. That I not forget he loves me yet, And I see where I have been. I know ahead, where I am lead, That all things will be clear. There's hope instead of dark and dread. In knowing He is near. I see by ear and try to hear, The beauty of all things. My heart is clear, I do not fear. the dark that blindness brings. This life is grand, come take my hand. It means so very much. That you understand I always planned. To love everyone I touch. So I walk my way and have to say, We all are homeward bound. And all who touch this life today, Lead me to higher ground. I've eyes enough to see the goal. The faith that truly free's.
