Tara
By repomen79
Tara, the shadow lies long before, The candle that bends in the wind. Hear tomorrow sigh outside my door, I know that my love will not end. In light of the distant and dismal refrain, Of the heart where no hope abide. Only the dark of our dream will remain, Oh Tara, I laughed til I cried. With passionate power persuasion persists, That time has no meaning at all. The deepest heart of my being insists, That somehow the night will not fall. Tara beloved, exceptions the rule, For love is so deep and so wide. Look at how love has made me a fool, Oh Tara, I laughed til I cried. Come, moonlit miracle of may, Our time has come to rise. For each of us is in our way, So taken by surprise. Again the flowers bloom so fair, As if they never died. And all my prayers were answered there, Oh Tara I laughed til I cried. Sweet the bloom of rapture grows, And laughter find us here. The mighty living river flows, Yet does not disappear. And as for me, sheer poetry, Walks right here at my side. And I can see How it will be, Oh Tara, I laughed til I cried.for Tara..........Who would be REALLY surprised. Written April 21st, 2002 © on Apr 21 2002 10:10 AM PST, Patric Patterson 18 • 0 • 8
