Thats what the flowers say

By repomen79

They speak of sunny april skies. And bluebirds on the wing. Of gentle looks in loving eyes. And every sacred thing. Of trains and veils and snow white lace. On a very special day. She's wearing Heaven on her face. Thats what the flowers say. They keep a tale for memory, To warm the latter years. Of voices raised in harmony. And glad eyes filled with tears. Of weddding bells, and perfume smells. And catching a boquet. And secret smiles neath lacy veils. Thats what the flowers say. Within that tale, the alter rail. That the groom clutched in his hand. As he prayed his courage wouldn't fail. That his bride would understand. They sing a song of a love so strong. It would ever after stay. As they vowed to love their whole lives long. Thats what the flowers say. They speak a bit for the joy of it. Of the God whose love is true. They know its fit, cause from where they sit. They know He loves them too. Yes the flowers share all the beauty there. And remember their own way. Its a grand affair, and its not so rare. Thats what the flowers say. Cherish the breeze and take your ease, Let the bridegroom join his  bride. The realities that a flower see's. Are so broad and deep and wide. And the girl she was will cry because, She's a bride and thats okay. Such a moment draws even Gods applause. Thats what the flowers say. As their hearts expand, and love command, Their every waking act. She took his hand for the life they planned, And their love became a fact. They take the veiw that a love so new. Will have every thing it may. They know its true, the flowers do. Thats what the flowers say. The flower knows why their young hearts fly. And the sweet kiss at the start. Her happy sigh and the tear she'll cry. For the love that fills her heart. How those tender tears in the coming years. Shall recall this happy day. Even a flower cheers when love appears, Thats what the flowers say.For every women on her wedding day. Written December 4th, 2001 © on Aug 29 2002 05:44 PM PST, Patric Patterson    0 • 8
