The Love so far
By repomen79
How far away the night sky seems. How very very cold. How fragile be the desperate dreams. Our loving hearts enfold. The dragon sleeps while the maiden weeps, And the poet goes to school. The fool makes love, He never keeps. Only Love can make a fool. Of languid June, and summer moon, Time seeming without end. So oppertune, I'll find her sooin. And call her my best friend. A vision bright this very night. Of all that life can be. I dream of light dressed up in white. And pray she dreams of me. Yet dreams like dust, most surely must, Be trod upon and scattered. The heart must trust, that love is just. Allthough you're dreams be shattered. How very far, Oh cold cold star. Shine on the destitute. How very bright our visions are. And love is absolute.I wish unending love for all of the "comunity". Some of you all are really outstanding poets, writers, or just plain observers. others are just totally out to lunch. You're dreams are most entertaining. thanks Written December 5th, 2001 © on Aug 30 2002 02:51 PM PST, Patric Patterson 0 • 8
