The Rubia, of the pasha Twa

In a one time desert kingdom. In the day of the great I AM. Dwelt the scroll of seven wisdoms, before the time of Abraham. In the days when God first hid his face. From the wicked men of Earth. Before he made the chosen race. Before the saviors birth. In a time when all the earth was green. And the tree of life first hidden. The fairest form of men was seen. And nothing was forbidden. Was a book of endless learning. Called by men ali akah. And a rainbow fire burning. In the rubia of the pasha Twa' The pasha Twa was just and wise. Upon his silver throne. His splendor lit the very skies. The akah was his alone His wisdom ruled the very air. For his cause the stars would sing. By his hand was beauty measured there. To every living thing. For the truth in ancient pages found. Did make known all creation. By wich the elements were bound. Or loosed to desolation. For calling showers on command. Or to summon the lightning strike. That a garden bloom in the desert sand. Or the days be made alike. Or the hidden thoughts of creatures. and colors never seen. The akah of ancient teachers. The rubia, like a bean. Rubia's rainbow colors glow. Like no bean thats ever been. And though its shape did puzzle so. The kingdom listened when. This bean of benevolent blessing. Showed the shape of things to come. Many thought it distressing. Twa's a comfort though to some. Good pasha held this sacred pair. The rubia and the great ahka. And the people dwelt in gladness there. In the court of the pasha Twa. So it came to pass as the kingdom sleeps. Thinking nighttime uneventful. A stealthy elvish bandit creeps. For the elves had been resentful. Covetious greedy, great desire. Had the elves for the sacred ahka. Held by the most benevolent sire. In the court of the pasha Twa. Sworn to the service of devious theft. Chief burgular of the elves. Did gainsay the elvin king bereft. They would have it for themselves. In a time that seemed most oppertune. As the drowsy pasha slept. On a sultry night without a moon. Into the court he crept. In the time it takes to blink an eye. The elvish thief was gone. With his treasure the thief did fly. As the royal court slept on. When the wakened pasha saw the theft. He sighed a bitter sigh. The rubia is all that I have left. Let us bring it forth and try. To seek by means of divination. The fate of our dear ahka. And clarify this situation. In the court of the pasha twa. Came a hermit, dressed in hair shirt. Crying, Beg you're pardon sire. I have seen rubia assert. In the colors of its fire. That you need not carry on lord. Nor call forth men of war. For the elves recieve their just reward. And you're magic is much more. I have seen in the rainbow light. The fate of the elvin kind. Their race shall vanish from mens sight. And never come to mind. Truly from the learned bean. Came a light of consolation. For on the pasha's face was seen. A look of concentration. From in its crystal depths there shone. Sunlight on crystal towers. Wise pasha ever on his throne. Kept by its secret powers. Says he this splendid coloration. Has given me declare. That twa shall make great celebration. There is grace in this affair. Alike are elves and great ahka. so soon to disappear. The rubia of the pasha twa, Has seen the future clear. Befor the rainbow colors waned. And grew dark in his hand. This court the pasha sad explained. Will sleep beneath the sand But time shall roll on a mobius track. And we that shall disappear. Will have again our magic back. In a far and distant year. Pity the elves, they've poisened themselves. By the theft of the sacred ahka. And the knowledge for wich the elvin king delves. Pass to the rubia of twa. So they and their kin. as pay for their sin. Shall be like the afternoon air. Here for a time then never again. As if they were never there. Let time flicker by on butterfly wings. The jester sings tra la la. Blessed is the song the rubia sings. In the court of the pasha twa. Their treasure gained at such great cost. To never be applied. The kingdom of the elves is lost. With ahka lost inside. Hidden are the things no man might know. rubia does not confide. Blessed is the bean no man can grow. With the color of wisdom inside. Let years roll by though ahka be gone. The power has left ahka. the kingdom of the elves will not go on. Like the court of the pasha twa Long since the splendid pasha's reign. The silent years roll past. Kingdoms rise to fall again. The first shall be the last No years impede nor time deny. The beauty of the lost ahka. The rainbow glow that will not die. In the court of the pasha twa. Behold the rubia of the pasha shines. Like color in a dreaming mind The woven thread that myth designs. The legends of mankind. Let president, and king and queen, And vizier and shah. Seek the beauty that once was seen. In the court of the pasha twa. Written December 19th, 2001 © on Aug 18 2002 05:05 AM PST, Patric Patterson    0 • 20 • 9
