There are no tears

Once again my angel dear, That you should shed for me a tear. Finds that all my passions lie. In drying that tear from your eye. And hope mere words somehow reveal, The tender sorrow that I feel. In a world that worships power and gold. The real is that we cannot hold. For all thats precious disappears, Except the love, there are no tears. Real as a song, Light as a prayer. your whole life long, t'was always there. The love you'll ever after be. How wonderous that you offer me. For I am only feeling clay, Here in my room so far away. Not knowing that I've missed for years, A love like yours, there are no tears. I cry my joy to the endless sky, That grace alloy the tear you cry. I hold your love beyond all price, And hope that somehow words suffice, To let my loving passion heal, The sorrow I have made you feel. I would not have a moments grief, For one whose bought me such relief. For love surrmounts our deepest fears. And all is well there are no tears. Darling lift your loving face. For every heart abides in grace, And everything you give to me, Comes back to you eternally. Life is short, Here in the storm. You are my port, so safe and warm. I speak and pray your spirit hears.
