Paradise
By RiVeN
Irony; the difference between what we expect And what comes true If a dream is only in my mind Then why is it I have found myself in a new place and time If it is only two dimensional Then why am I feeling Things I have never felt before Why has the window shut And opportunity has cracked the door Is it ironic that the dream world in my mind Is the same vision you held at one time Is this world in my head dark or bright Is it alright if I give up the fight? I am [dreaming] in a world One of no questions or rules The gods of my mind are battling a bloody duel No temple or shrine This world does exsist [in my mind] It is locked and you have the key Open your eyes so that you may see That you still share this dream world Why and try to deny a vision so true One in eternity spent with you Paradise is not just a word but a state of mind One you must achieve One you must be able to perceive Wipe your eyes free of tears And spend with me the rest of our years Is it ironic that my definition of paradise Defies the the descriptionWhy do people feel paradise is filled with materialistic needs?
