Unborn In Paradise
By RiVeN
A living medical mystery Stumped them all A troubled future on this man would befall Living his life as a mystery and a lie A gift dropped from the sky Living his life behind a mask Keeping everything a secret Was a great task Artificial Intelligence Born in a lab Knowing he isn't real Is driving him mad Memories put on a microchip No such thing as childhood Created to do no wrong Created to only do good Now he wants to live Thinking it's all a bad mistake And he wants to forgive The authorities won't let him move on They are now realizing what they did wrong He should've led a sheltered life One inside At least then he would not resist He would not fight Born into slavery Unborn in paradise "Shouldn't they be free We modeled them after ourselves To deny our brethren Would be like being locked in a confining cell" The fight may never end Until then we are trapped In a world we made our own A technological hell Welcome homeI was watching The Matrix on DVD last night and I wrote this today.
