She got to her rooms and laid on the bed Thoughts of that morning moved through her head She closed her eyes and sighed, then drifted to sleep Images and feelings arose, those she wished to keep She dreamed of her lover as they mated next to her seas She moaned outloud as those images began to flee In her dream she stood and looked around He appeared before her, his feet not touching the ground He said not a word, moved not an inch His eyes burned silver, what she felt caused her to flinch Pain in his heart, his soul began to ache Still saying nothing, she grew scared and began to shake He lightly stepped on the cool, wet sand He walked to her and gently took her hand Gently caressing her hair, his hand moved down her arm She shivered at his touch, at that moment not concerned with harm 'Let him go, give him peace.' He finally said quietly 'That man no longer exists, what must I do to make you see.' Anger gripped her hard and she moved away from him 'His memories are mine, they'll never grow dim.' Waiting for his rage, she began to tremble, her soul began to shake 'It will do you no good to hold on, if I must, his release I'll make.' A sweep of his arm and she found herself in her old rooms Looking to her bed, she let a gasp, the night of their fated doom She watched them love each other, feeling his presence behind 'You've left me no choice, Mistress, you must watch him die.' The men barged in the room and took them away She felt faint and she began to sway His arms found her just before she could fall She blinked and screamed, as she watched her Beloved crawl 'I love thee, Goddess!' She heard his cry again and she let out a scream She sat up in bed, thankful it was just a dream Standing in the corner, his arms crossed before him His face showed no anger, no hate - set with no grim 'Don't you see?  Can't you feel it?  I own it, I've allowed it to be.' 'His love is dim, compared to mine, I do love Thee.' Written February 25th, 2002 © on Feb 25 2002 11:27 AM PST   0 • 18 • 10
