Danger in Shadows

By Egypt

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Strong hands caressing soft fleshTwo becoming one, Physically, SpirituallySoft cries of pleasure fill the night airThe Moon hanging low, the ocean speaks softlyWarm breezes speaks softly of passion unsatedThe One floats on words of love, higher into the skyTouching the Moon and StarsStanding in shadows, one watches them and smiles of evil that passes his mindThoughts of murder, rape and torture flash before his eyes Hands clinched in rage yet continues to smile'Time is short, it must be soon. They've sealed their doom.'Quietly slipping away, the one thinks of the planHis mind wanders to the object that has consumed himAnd hears a far off hum change to that of sorrowHe stops briefly as cries from the sands pierce the air and fuel his hatredQuiet bodies and minds collapse against each otherThe sounds of breathing fill the air as waves caress their legsShe lays on his chest and briefly smiles as she hears his heartHis hand goes to her hair and caresses it softly as he looks to the midnight skyShe furrows her brow and lifts her head as she hears the same humLooking into his eyes, a silent tear falls from her face and splashes his chest.I'm crying...enough said. Will finish it later. Written January 21st, 2002 © on Jan 21 2002 05:29 AM PST   18 • 0 • 10
