Song of the Goddess

By Egypt

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Mother Isis, Goddess of All I come to Thee heartbroken, please hear my call To feel her soft touch, to see her smile I need her near me, give her one mile. My heart is empty, my eyes full of tears Let her come to me and soften my fears My arms wrapped around her, her words comforting me I need her near me, I ask this of Thee. To touch her and hold her, and then our good-byes To gaze at her beauty, to see love in her eyes Grant my plea, Oh Great One, no tears shall fall She is My Mother, My Goddess, My All. Our world has crumbled, we've no where to turn To see her one more time, is all that I yearn To feel the Kiss on my head - I find comfort there I'll remember the nights, as we sat in her chair. To touch her and hold her, and then our good-byes To gaze at her beauty, to see love in her eyes Grant my plea, Oh Great One, no tears shall fall She is My Mother....My Goddess....My All.
