The Guardian

A shiver down my spine, my body in tune A whisper sends me back, back in time when we were One 'Atlantean Goddess...' My soul shivers, my breath only quickens Sands of Time, Sands of Egypt swirls about me Intense love and power takes me higher As he appears before me Sighing as his mighty arms surround me To feel love, protection and peace My heart steadies as I melt against him My thoughts racing as I feel his hand in my hair I sigh again as I hear his heart, strong and true Taken back to a time long lost Our silence is golden, our love withstanding the test of time Sands of Time swirl around us We stand on the shores, the Full Moon above Warm ocean breezes caress us He holds me tighter, knowing we cannot stay long We speak briefly of our love, our life, our deaths Silent tears roll down my face, but tears of joy He's found me again, searching over time My life now complete, my heart now whole Brought to the present, my heart grows heavy Wishing to stay with him, but knowing I can't His hand in my hair one last time, as he fades from me slowly 'Atlantean Goddess....'Anybody that has experienced the remembering of a past life knows how incredibly intense it can be. But it's even more intense when you find a powerful love and wanting. This has happened to me, I know I have found my Guardian, HE has found ME, has searched lifetimes looking for me. Our lives are whole again with each other, and I curse the distance we have between us, physically. But spiritually, we are One again.
