Storm's Horse

By Egypt

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

A clap of thunder, a wave of lightning pierces the night sky Arms outstretched, reaching for what the storm has to offer Power, passion, strength, and protection, I feel Of Love lost, remembered and regained A clap of thunder and the feeling grows strong He's near me, he's with me, riding the storm's horse I smile as I accept him, wholly and completely The Guardian returned I drop to my knees, I'm dripping wet Trembling, I lay in rain soaked grass Eyes closed and smiling, I see his face, his body all mine 'Together again, M'Lord.' I see his smile, his eyes, two shining stars The storm rages on, seems to continue to grow 'My Goddess, I have searched and found that which I swore to protect and love' I shiver and accept The storm reaches its peak as I feel our time is near The agony of his leaving, the grief of loss I feel his hand in my hair, a kiss on my neck Crying out, I feel him vanishAre all of my writings about this past life I have remembered?  At least 90% will be.  It was incredibly powerful and I felt the need to write it.
