...Before the Storms

By Egypt

She spent the next few days locked in her room Not wanting his company, not wanting her doom She loved another, even though he was dead Knowing that the Dark One was right, filled her with dread She walked to the balcony, sighed and brushed her hair Closing her eyes, her thoughts began to clear A sudden rush of heat went down her back Stopping her brush, she knew of his silent attack Turning on her heel, she faced him and sighed Looking deep into his brown and silver eyes Not saying a word, he took her brush and turned her around Slowly he brushed as she looked to the ground 'You've grown weak again, you must eat and sleep.' 'Walk the land I have given you, let your spirit go free.' 'Amazing words coming from you, My Dark Lord, Amazing indeed.' 'Considering that you kept me chained in this castle's keep.' He continued to brush, her hair hung low to her thighs He said not a word and she let out a frustrated sigh 'You speak of love, but keep me in chains and with lust.' 'I think of you taking me, hard and long.' She said with disgust He turned her around and for the first time in days His face showed emotion, no longer keeping them at bay Not hate, not disgust for what she was speaking Concern etched his face, she could hear his heart leaping 'Your journey hasn't begun, Mistress, but soon it will.' 'Dark days are ahead, give yourself peace and be still.' 'Before you are through, you'll wish for these quiet days.' 'Your mind, body and spirit will soon start to fray.'
