He brought her over that fateful day Hoping his other lady had something to say Glimpses of the future and auras she could see He trusted his lady and her special ability He knew she studied both white and black Black (Know Thy Enemy) in case she was attacked It did not bother or worry him much A force to be reckoned with, he saw she was such They climbed the stairs slowly and both with a smile She shivered and became sick - This lady was vile Glimpses did come - her aura was dark That instant she decided to use the black art What did she see?  It sent her in a rage She saw herself standing beside his grave Slowly and carefully they lowered him in Details arose, quite clear, she even saw the men After they left she went straight into her room She made the decision, that lady sealed her doom Carefully she pulled out her books and found the spell To him, she decided, she would never tell Fueled by hatred and anger she cast Afterward and alone, she quietly sat Knowing this victory would be all too sweet Watching her fall, would be a tasty treat The backlash didn't scare her or make her blink She didn't realize that she was on the brink Drunk and angry she thought she did it in love Not stopping to speak to the Gods above.Another series, sorry folks, but this is a story that needs to be told. And it's too frappin' long to do it any other way, it's layered and complicated. Written February 6th, 2002 © on Feb 06 2002 12:43 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
