Dark Beauty

By Egypt

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

With lightning speed, she stood and gripped his throat Taking him to the balcony, suspending him above the moat 'Your deceitful words and deeds I'll no longer hear!' 'You die tonight, or I will, ~my lovely dear.~' His face stayed the same, a smile across his lips The mark began to twist, sending pain down her hips Crying out, she stayed still, only furrowing her brow 'Look at what you have done, what you are doing now.' To her surprise, she realized she held him over the night's air Feeling the power, she smiled and in his eyes, she stared 'The dream was real, you have begun your change, Mistress.' 'Look deep in yourself, there is no more distress.' Pulling him back, she walked to the mirror and stood Her eyes tinted silver, her body more sleek and she called it good 'All carry within them the power to know the dark.' 'But only those with the gift, can this journey they embark.' She turned and looked at him, seeing him for the first time Began feeling the carnal wanting, more pure and raw than in any lifetime He sensed her want and threw up his hand 'Not yet, M'Lady, this I command.' 'There's more you must do, more to see.' 'We have eons of time, My Dark Beauty.' His eyes burned silver as he began to vanish from sight She walked to where he was and stood in the cool moonlight Written March 5th, 2002 © on Mar 05 2002 12:09 PM PST   0 • 18 • 10
