The Mark

Chained to the wall, suspended in air Her clothes stripped from her, she began not to care His short visits had been torture and dark His words and actions had been blunt and stark She heard a loud crash and opened her eyes Bright sunlight filtered in, painful - she wanted to die He walked to her and stood close, she could smell his lust She closed her eyes again, her heart pounding from her bust 'Understand now, if you make a wrong move, you'll come back' 'Free you aren't, don't make me attack' She suddenly fell from the wall, weak and in pain She managed to look up at him, her eyes full of distain He lifted her in his arms and carried her out She felt more than lust from him, she felt love then began to doubt 'A Dark One such as yourself can't feel love, can you?' 'Lust, greed and hate is what you feel, controlling too.' He said not a word as he walked into the room Scented oils and warm water greeted her senses, made her swoon 'Bathe, clean up, I'll leave you alone.' The water inviting, it calmed her to the bone He gently put her on her feet and she began to fall 'I'm weak, I can't, to your servants please call.' He picked her up and into the water, gently laid her down 'Bathe slowly, Mistress, as I retrieve your gown.' When she was through, the skies had turned dark Not knowing that soon, she would receive her mark He helped her out and suddenly throws her to the floor With a move of his arm, he slammed and locked the door Grabbing her roughly, his hand went down her right side Suddenly feeling heat and searing pain, she wanted to die His claw sunk deep into her soft skin and she cried out Her body shook, her head swam and blood began to pour out 'This is my mark, Mistress, a mark you'll have, it's one of a kind.' 'I'll always find you, no matter where, this til the end of time.' 'Remember my words, there's no way out, this is fate.' 'You are the one, Mistress, you'll become my mate.'
