The River

By Egypt

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

They flew through the night, the Dark Lord and Mistress She cried silent tears, her heart full of distress They came to a river and he began to fly low She closed her eyes as she heard the water's flow His feet hit the ground softly to her silent surprise Grace mixed with danger, she realized her fated demise He stood close to her, his claws sinking deep into her skin 'I'll take this flesh whenever I please.' He said with a grin She tore from his grasp and slapped him across the face She began smiling as she started to pace 'This body is mine, only one can take it when he wants' She tore open her nightdress, her body she began to flaunt 'Dream and wish, Dark One, you'll never have me.' 'Force it and I'll end my life, this I decree.' He grabbed her and threw them both on the ground Attempting to scream, she made not a sound He laid upon her, his hands began to roam She closed her eyes and began thinking of home He roared outloud and quickly stood She crawled away in fear, of his towering godhood 'I'll not have you this way, I want you to come to me' 'Begging and pleading for carnal release' 'I'll rip his memory from you, mind, body and soul' 'Mark my words, you'll have no control.' He growled and jumped on her, forced her wrists in the mud She gasped, she screamed, the taste in her mouth of blood 'You'll want me to please you, Mistress, just wait and see' 'You'll crave it, kill for it, deep in your belly' 'This is Destiny, Witch, you can't run and hide' 'No thinking about it, no time to decide' 'No turning back, this is fate, Mistress' 'Accept it now, or face my true darkness' Written February 23rd, 2002 © on Feb 23 2002 11:48 AM PST   18 • 0 • 10
